Blake Family Homestead

Rooted in Moore County for over 100 years.

Rooted in Moore County

For over three generations, the Blake family has cultivated the rich, dark soil of Moore County. Our journey began with a simple vision: to provide the community with the purest, most nutritious harvests possible, grown with respect for the land and its heritage.

Today, we continue that legacy through sustainable practices and a deep connection to the seasons. Every vegetable and fruit we offer is a testament to the slow, artisanal process of growing food that nourishes both body and soul.

We believe that true flavor comes from the earth and the hands that tend it. By staying rooted in our local community, we ensure that the history of the Blake Family Homestead lives on, one harvest at a time.

Microgreens Year-Round

Organically grown garlic, squash, beans and melons are hand-picked from our sun-drenched fields. These heirloom varieties offer a rich, earthy and vibrant flavors that are truly unique to our North Carolina soil.

Root vegetables such as carrots, radishes and turnips as well as cool winter crops like lettuces are harvested at peak ripeness, ensuring a fresh healthy flavor that captures the essence of the Moore County harvest.

Research shows that microgreens may contain up to 40 times the nutrients of mature plants. We harvest a variety of these greens year-round including a super green mix that includes leafy green vegetables such as butter crunch, arugula, mustard greens topped with a salad microgreens mix.
